How copy trading works
1. Compare strategies
Check the provider record, trading history, drawdown, minimum balance and performance fee shown for each strategy.
2. Confirm broker and platform terms
Open the strategy's linked broker or platform page to confirm current account requirements, availability in your location and all terms.
3. Choose your risk
Set up and monitor copying through the selected broker or platform. Copied positions can also lose money and experience drawdowns.
Copy trading vs. a Quantora Expert Advisor
Copy trading follows a strategy through a third-party broker or social-trading platform. An Expert Advisor is software that you purchase and run on your own MetaTrader account. These are different products, account arrangements and risk choices. Compare Quantora EAs separately.
Read the copy trading vs. buying an EA cost comparison. Our EA results and Myfxbook records use a different account source; they are not the linked copy-trading profile's performance or a forecast for your account.
Fees, minimum balances and performance
Returns and history come from the source identified on each strategy card. Listed fees and minimum balances are maintained separately by Quantora; the provider update time does not verify those terms. Confirm the final fee, charging rules, minimum balance, account currency and eligibility directly with the relevant broker or platform before subscribing. Past performance does not predict future results; drawdowns and loss of capital are possible.
How to read the performance figures
Total gain and the chart show cumulative return from the source identified on the card. The chart is a return series, not an account balance or equity curve. Range buttons change the displayed history, not the headline since-start return. Reporting methods can differ between providers, so check the original record before comparing strategies.
Maximum drawdown is the historical figure reported by the source. It is not a limit on future losses. Track-record length is the provider-reported age; a short record may not include different market conditions.
Figures are cached for up to an hour between refreshes. Each card shows the source update time when available; a last-known snapshot is labelled if a source cannot be reached. A dash means the source did not supply that statistic.
Follower results can differ because of allocation, execution, slippage, fees and account conditions. Review the full linked provider profile, including losses and open positions where available, before deciding to follow.
Copy Trading FAQ
Is copy trading included in Quantora Premium?
No. Quantora Premium covers platform features. Copy trading is a separate third-party service with the selected broker or platform's own terms and fees.
Does copy trading guarantee a profit?
No. Results can change, past performance is not a guarantee, and copied trades can lose money.
Where do I start copying a strategy?
Review a strategy card and open its linked broker or platform profile. Check the current provider requirements before proceeding.
Which minimum balance and fee apply?
The cards list the configured terms for each strategy. Confirm the current offer, currency units, fee calculation and charging schedule with the relevant broker or platform before funding or subscribing. Do not assume that a cent-account balance is the same number of US dollars.
How do I stop copying or withdraw funds?
Check the selected broker or platform's current subscription and withdrawal terms, including how open trades and any fees are handled. Contact that provider's support if the account rules are unclear.
